Does a caterpillar ever wonder if the uncomfortable process of complete transformation will be a mistake?
Or does it simply surrender to the deep knowingness that the processes of undoing and becoming are one and the same and that endings are indeed beginnings?
When we experience profoundly life changing events it’s as if we are being unwillingly thrust into the chrysalis to dissolve into goo.
Knowing there is no going back to the way we were before and without any certainty of what we will become.
Uncomfortable, scary… these words seem like gross understatements.
Yet, alas, just like the caterpillar we must surrender to and trust the process if we are ever to become a butterfly.
